Positive thinking empowers your mind which will allow you to achieve much success this life time. We are talking about the power of Affirmations. I use Affirmations on a daily basis to shape and shift my life. Just like exercising your body one needs to exercise the mind and to me there is no better way than to be mindful of the words we say. Mindful of the thoughts we think and mindful of our emotions and/or actions and reactions around events occurring in our lives. Being able to shift your thoughts and shift you words is a powerful occurrence when one sees the results. To experience this, is one step closer to finding that love that we all need from within. Here are some examples of affirmations that one could use on a daily basis:
I love myself.
I accept who I am.
I make a difference.
I am able to have everything I want.
My life is filled with abundance.
Every day I learn new things about myself.
I surround myself with great friends and laughter.

How long did it take to say the above affirmations? Twenty (20) seconds, that’s it. Think about it. Twenty seconds each day that could impact your life in ways that you never thought possible. Understand this is a daily practice for the mind to absorb the shift in the thoughts. This is not something that you say one day and skip the next or the next. This daily practice is a commitment. A commitment to yourself and a small one, of a few seconds a day. One day, when you are affirming out loud, you start to realize the truth of what you are saying. You wake up and you ARE happy. You wake up and you HAVE time to do things for yourself! You wake up and realize you have PEACE in your life. You wake up and look all around and realize your life IS filled with abundance. Abundance of friends, family, laughter, money, time and happiness. You embrace the things you are learning about yourself and you see progress in who you are. You start to realize the actions and reactions that you have repeated in the past no longer work for you anymore. You start to take on new behavior and new thoughts and realize….Hey my life is taking on a different spin and I like it! Not only do I like it, I like me! The words and affirmations I’ve used above are just samples of numerous things you can say to change, conform and shape your life into what you’re wanting.
